JGHS Art One students used viewfinders to "flatten" their hand and phone. Viewfinders help students develop make the difficult transition from 3D to 2D imaging. Once they had their hands and phones outlined on the plastic viewfinder, they redrew their images on paper using pencil. They were directed to add interestng imagery on their screen as well as values.
