JGHS Art One students learned the fundamentals of perspective drawing and proceeded to draw a chessboard using a vanishing point and converging lines. They were next tasked to design two sets of dueling chess pieces on their board that also followed the rules of perspective. An emphasis was placed on perspective accuracy and the creative pairing of chess pieces.
