JGHS Advanced Art students went out of doors to create these wonderful campus sketches using charcoal. Large sticks of white and black charcoal as well as charcoal pencils on full sized sheets of gray charcoal paper were used. An emphasis was placed on creating a full range of values and allowing the original value of the paper to remain visible.
